New Operator for the Baldur Ferry

On June 1st, 2025, the company Ferjuleiðir ehf. will take over the operation of the Baldur ferry across Breiðafjörður.

Bookings and further information are available on their website. The passenger ferry Særún will cease operations on the same date. Those who have unit cards (einingakort) with Sæferðir can continue to use them with Ferjuleiðir.
