Særún
The cruise ship Særún is a catamaran with a capacity of 115 passengers. In the saloon downstairs is a small coffee shop and there can seat up to 98 persons.

With a total gross tonnage of 194 tons, Særún is 25.92 meters long and 8 meters wide. Powered by two engines, each with an output of 484 kW, the vessel reaches a maximum speed of 18 nautical miles. This means that a scenic trip around the Suðureyjar islands in Breiðarfjörður – for the purposes of admiring the birdlife, dredging up shellfish and appreciating the various unique rock formations – at a speed ranging from 0 to 14 nautical miles per hour, takes about two hours and 15 minutes. Fully equipped with the latest nautical and safety technology, Særún has a capacity of 90 passengers.
